much about nothing much
What advice would you now give to someone writing his/her first scientific paper?
The advice that I would give is this;
1.If you have the option to write on your own chosen topic,make it a good one.Make sure you have an initial interest in the subject.Make it a topic that either you ave always wanted to know more about or make it a topic that pertains to family/friend that could make you understand their condition more.
2.If the topic is predetermined by the professor,find something about it that's different or interesting and run with it.
3.When drawing notes from articles, always include the source of the reference so that when writing the essay,you can cite in-text as you go.
4.The thesis statement is crucial to the entire paper.Make sure to include 3 strong points worth covering. When applying each point within the body,do them in the same order as listed in the thesis statement.
5.Learn the paramedic method now so that when you need to edit/revise,they will be easier to correct.
6.Make sure to restate the 3 strong points when concluding the essay.
7.Consider peer review as suggestive and instructor review as imperative.
8.Don't try to write it all at once or wait until the last minute to begin.
9.Don' be discouraged if you don't get an "A",learn from your mistakes so that the next essay is an "A".
10.Don't plagiarize!

    I love your new graphics. They are perfect for a really cool and professional looking student blog.

    Your advisory list makes me very proud! I hope you do not mind if I use it for my students at the beginning of next term?

    Thanks.
